Maybe it's the UK's weather, maybe it's the post lockdown ( I know, it does seem so long ago when we have to stay at home), maybe it's the calling of white beaches and turquoise water, maybe is the cocktails by the beach (That could be just me). Whatever it is, going for a beach holiday definitely bring joys in our hearts.
After booking the holidays, my thought immediately goes to figuring out what to bring. We always fly budget airline so there are many restrictions in terms of carry-on luggage. If you are like me, I planned for every eventualities under the sun. If I could, I would bring the whole house with me. So, clothes is one of the issues. As a professional facialist, my major concern is about fitting all my skin care into that TINY LITTLE plastic bag for security!
See what I actually packed for a 3 days beach holiday.
What's in my 1000ml bag?

SPF (priced around £10)
I gone for 50 factor face protection. I love this one as it's non sticky and doesn't leave any white marks. My skin can get oily after 1/2 hours after I apply sun cream, this one doesn't. It's Copper-zinc property works to stimulate collagen production. My skin is never flaky or dry.
Cleanser (priced around £5)
I use a gel foaming cleanser. It's specifically for sensitive skin. After a day in the sun, I just wanted to use a cleanser that makes me feel fresh. It contain micellar, which is great for keeping my skin subtle after cleansing.
Moisturiser (priced around £5)
This one is great for light packing. It can be for day and night. It has Niacinamide and Maracuja. Niacinamide is basically vitamin B3 and nicotinic acid, and is a very effective skin-restoring ingredient that offers multiple benefits for example anti aging.
Maracuja has an antioxidant effect so it's great to restore those sun kissed skin.
Serum (priced around £5)
I am in love with this light collagen peptide serum. It instantly soaks in after I applied it. Collagen is a protein that produced naturally in our dermis. It slowly reduced as we age (*sigh), ultraviolet (UV) light, pollution, smoking, and poor nutrition, resulting in skin dryness and wrinkling.
Peptide is a smaller version of protein. Peptides may stimulate the production of melanin, a skin pigment, which may improve the skin’s protection against sun damage.
All of the products I take with me, I use religiously everyday too. Even when there is an overcast back in UK, the UV light still exist! All the products come to a grand total of £25 and it has lasted me over a month now.
As a treatment to achieve my skin care goal, I do top up with a once a month facial which target fine line and wrinkles, plus a rebalancing facial.
