Electrical facial

These treatments are a range of cosmetic treatments that use low electric currents passed through the skin to produce therapeutic effects. It is based on electrotherapy, which has been researched and accepted in the field of rehabilitation. The treatment works by applying a small, constant, direct current to the skin. The charged ions in the skin are either attracted or repelled from the electrodes, resulting in certain chemical effects. There are four main types of treatment that differ in the type of current they use: galvanic treatment, micro-current electrical stimulation, and high-frequency treatment.

Dermaplaning
This advanced skincare technique helps to replenish the top layers of skin through a method of controlled surgical scraping. This helps increases absorption of topical products and removes 21 days worth of dead skin cells and fine vellus hair. It immediately diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, removes trapped dirt and debris caught in hair and helps with lightening hyperpigmentation and acne scarring. This treatment is performed by a trained aesthetician and with a surgical blade.

Microneedling
Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that uses small, sterilised needles to prick the skin. This treatment aims to generate new collagen and skin tissue to smooth, firm, and tone skin. Microneedling is mostly used on the face and may reduce the appearance of acne, scars, dark spots, wrinkles, and large pores.
The procedure is minimally invasive and requires little to no downtime. It’s considered safe for most people who are in overall good health. However, it may not be safe for people who use certain acne medications, those with active acne, or those with moderate to severe psoriasis or eczema.
