Skin care is one that often get neglected when we have to tighten our belt. I can show you how to look after your skin without breaking the bank in this article.
Wear Sun cream
This is one of the best thing you could wear. Pay attention to the UVA and UVB rating. A factor 25 to 30 is sufficient for daily wear,. Although if you have fair and pale skin, factor 50 would be better.
Huge amount of us now work from home or have a shorter commune time. You might think you are safe from UV ray. Wrong. UV rays can pass through glass windows. Because of this, it’s important to wear SPF inside your home and car. Glass windows filter out UVB rays but UVA rays can still penetrate through your windows ,which is harmful to your skin! Pay attention to the shelf life too. Once open, majority of the sun cream has 1 year until they are not effective. Stock up during winter time when the prices are lower.
Wash your face
Yep. That's all you have to do. After a night out, you maybe tempted to go to bed with your make up on. Although as a facialist , we are against facial wipes. (See related post) On this occasion, it's better than going to be with your full makeup on. Not only you will wake up looking like a panda, your pores will be block and you will ended up having break out. You should ideally spend as much time cleaning your skin as you would of spent putting your make up on.
Creating a routine
Similar idea to going food shopping only once a week. It is much easier to control how much product you use and buy. You really only use 5 basic types of product each day, cleanser, toner, serum, moisturiser and SPF. Mask and exfoliant are an occasional affair, should only be use twice a week. Having a routine will save you time and ultimately money. Going to a salon should only be a treat too, there is no need to have a facial every week. You should have one every 3 to 4 weeks. This is allow your skin time to resurface.
Do you have any tips on taking care of your skin on a budget? I would love to hear it x
